If I knew then what I know now I'd burn my massive fortune. From penthouse suites people on the street seem distant and foreign. So I spend my days with hangers on, minders and tax advisers. I do not trust anyone, they're all angling for a slice of what's mine.
On private jets I'm always on edge. In exclusive clubs my guard's always up. Onboard super yachts I avoid the have-nots.
Money's got a hold on me. Nobody lives to be the richest man in the cemetery but what I want I can't buy.
Saddest thing I ever heard was when the told me 'Honey, you'll never have to work.'

If a tree comes down and no-one's around was it ever really there? And if your name in lights no longer shines did people ever really care?
I was just a kid when I ended up beside a Hollywood director's chair. Said he'd make me a queen of the silver screen: sharp face, blue eyes, blonde hair.
Empty promises of fame and star-studded premieres. But they chew me up and spat me out. Should have been someone, I swear. But they'll remember me now...
Burn it down.
Typecast as a has-been but tonight that all will change. Gonna give them an ending that's worthy of centre stage.
Years of anonymity gonna go up in flames. My resting place: a funeral pyre carefully arranged...
From torn out paper press cuttings of my glory days. My neighbours will have to use them to identify my remains.
Flames climb up the wall. A monument to potential. If you're not someone then you're no-one at all. My fitting curtain call.
